“Cabin was perfect for our family of four with plenty of room for our 3 year old and 9 year old to feel like they both had their own space. Cabin located in quiet area and short 5 minute drive to great hiking trails and Newfound Lake and 10 minute drive to downtown Bristol with great coffee shops. Ragged Mountain only 20 minutes away and Gunstock only 40 so easy to enjoy skiing, snow tubing, hiking and so much more. Extended our stay an additional night because we didn’t want to leave. “The lake cabin was lovely, it was quiet and really private. The property has a great fire pit patio that was fun at night. I highly recommend this property for either a fun week at the lake during the summer or a ski vacation at the winter!”

“This studio was nicely refinished and perfect for a solo week-long getaway. I appreciated the screened-in porch in the evenings. The location was great, with a beach across the street, Wellington State Park a short drive, and many beautiful hikes nearby. The mattress, however, had a blood stain on it which I found repulsive. I would suggest bringing a mattress pad along with your linens.”

“This property was as described. We enjoyed the outdoor seating on the porch with Baptist Pond just steps away. Appreciated the cooling fans in the living room and bedrooms, which did not get too hot during our summer stay. We didn't use the kayak or paddleboat, but one of us did swim in the pond for exercise. We also enjoyed breakfast and dinners out in nearby New London (good restaurants there!). Overall, a comfortable spot for friends to relax and connect.”

The water is deep enough for swimming and is crystal clear. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. The property manager, Gail was very supportive and prompt in all communication.”
