Inn Over Our Skis is your base camp for a Mt. Hood adventure. With 3 bedrooms, 2 ‎bathrooms, and a large loft, our mountain timber frame home is the perfect getaway for a family ‎vacation or a weekend escape from city life. Featuring an open floor plan with beautiful views ‎of Hunchback Mountain and the foothills of Mt. Hood, our home comfortably sleeps 10 (1 king ‎bed, 1 queen bed, 2 full beds, plus bunk beds), and owner will consider a larger party with ‎children under 6. The house is fully equipped with a gas fireplace, WiFi, Internet TV, DVD ‎player, a fully stocked kitchen, games, and puzzles to entertain after your mountain adventures. ‎

‎Inn Over Our Skis is located less than a mile from local eateries, bars, and the resort ‎lodge. With easy access to the outdoors where you can hike, ski, golf, fish, mountain bike, and ‎more. We are adjacent to the Welches Three Nines Golf Course, and a mere 2 miles from the ‎Salmon River trailhead, 7 miles from Sandy Ridge mountain biking, 13 miles from Government ‎Camp, and less than an hour’s drive from Portland. ‎

Great Place and Great Stay

This place was everything we wanted and needed. The location was perfect for heading to and from the mountain for winter fun. The town has plenty of eating options nearby and a good grovery store as well. There are lots of nice areas to walk right around the house as well.

Month long stay

The house worked very well for 4 people with occasional guests. We liked having quick access to the mountain and hiking trails close to Welches. We also liked the view out the front of the house across the golf course and toward the mountain. Ariel and Garret our hosts were responsive and easy to work with. All and all a very positive experience!

My family and I were very impressed with this cute property. The place was clean, cozy, and well stocked (silverware, dishes, games, etc.). The beds were fairly comfortable and there was enough room for our group of ten. Solid place and will definitely return to this spot for another snowboard weekend getaway!

Clean home. Comfortable beds and furniture. Close to winter and summer activities. Nice toiletries. Responsive host. Wish there had been air conditioning in the bedrooms. AC unit is in dining area so we had to leave bedroom doors open to get cool air. It was very comfortable with doors open.
