Outdoor Adventure Home: Golfing, Hiking & Kayaking

Escape to this beautiful 3-bed, 2-bath home nestled in the woods on Wellesley Island, offering privacy and stunning views of the golf course. The open concept living room and kitchen with cathedral ceilings provide a spacious and comfortable living area, perfect for relaxing after a day on the golf course or exploring the island. With an attached 2-stall garage and private driveway, parking is convenient and secure.

Guests can enjoy the use of a golf cart to explore the beautiful golf course or the miles of walking and hiking trails that start right from the backyard. The back deck with grill is perfect for outdoor entertaining or enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Early check-ins: Complimentary courtesy early check-in: please message us the day of your arrival to inquire about early check-in availability. We are often able to accommodate early arrivals but cannot guarantee them ahead of time as it is based on housekeeping, maintenance, and other services.

Confirmed early check-in: You may pre-arrange an early check-in of 2pm for a fee of $50. Please request the check-in at least 24 hours prior to arrival. For earlier arrivals, please check with us the day of your arrival or consider booking the preceding night.

Late check-outs: Confirmed late check-out: You may pre-arrange a late checkout of 12:00pm for a fee of $50. Please request the check-out at least 24 hours prior to your departure. For later check-outs, please consider booking the subsequent night.

Delayed departure: Please be sure to vacate the premises promptly at your check-out time in order to avoid delaying housekeeping or other service providers. Delayed departures will be subject to a $50 failure to notify fee & the $50 fee for 12:00pm check out

This is a really nice place to stay for a vacation. It's located in a golf course with woods and ponds around, very quiet and beautiful. The living room, as showed in the listed picture, has large windows bring the natural view around into your eyes directly. Room is very clean, nicely renovated in modern style. The host Allison and Michael are super nice and patient, always promptly respond to my messages. The golf car is a plus, we enjoyed driving around exploring. Our pup enjoyed his stay too.

We just loved staying at this very comfortable, private cottage in the woods on hole 19! Great communication, well organized, clean and cozy! We loved exploring the trails in the woods, visiting Boldt castle and other Boldt properties, fishing, pickleball, golfing, boating and kayaking. Would highly recommend!

Very quiet and spacious home. We had 5 adults and 1 child comfortably stay for the entire time. The kitchen and house was more than adequately stocked. The golf cart was a real hit and came in handy when scouting out the island. The home is very close to all the attractions in Alex Bay and there is plenty to do on Wellesley Island. Lastly, the host was excellent. Any question I had was immediately responded to in a pleasant and respectful manner. I had no issue that was significant in nature, but appreciated the quick response. All in all, a relaxing week in a roomy, well-maintained property!

Family get away

Location was good, close to the marina and right on the golf course. The house was clean and had enough room for everyone. The golf cart was fun to get around on. Any issue or question we had was answered rapidly by Allison. She was a great host.

Family Stay at Wellesley

The golf cart was a great perk for exploring the golf courses and property nearby, though there aren't many "public" places in the vicinity to venture around. Location was super convenient for visiting Boldt Castle, just a 2 minute ferry ride away. Host was great with communications and very friendly.

Family wedding

We choose this home because it was close to the wedding chapel and the 1000 Island Vinyard where the wedding reception took place. The groomsmen played golf in morning before the wedding. We didn’t see the golf cart that came with the house so when we called about it Alison arranged for us to pick one up at the golf course because the previous renters had lost or stolen it. It is a great place to stay with family and close to all the attractions on and off Wellesley Island

Wonderful Week on Wellesley

Outdoor Adventure was just what we needed for our family of 10 and 2 dogs. We appreciated that the house was so well appointed, somewhat secluded, near a kayak launch area, and close to a marina. Great VRBO on the TI golf course

Wonderful property that was able to accommodate 2 families perfectly! A short walk from the bolt castle boat house and right on the golf course ! Very clean and spacious, with extras such as all linens and toiletries were provided ! Will definitely rent again!

Great Place for Outdoor Fun!

The property is in a nice quiet location right on a golf course! Very convenient to a boat rental business as well as just a few miles from the Alexandria Bay area. The house has many amenities and was very comfortable for all the guests staying there. My children definitely enjoyed the golf cart and the many trails to drive and explore on! The property manager was great with communication and got back to me very quickly with any questions that I had!

Great House, Excellent Location

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in this great house in an excellent location on the golf course. The house has everything you need and more. The six of us were very comfortable. We enjoyed walking the trails and exploring the outdoors. It is a quick drive to both Alexandria Bay and Clayton. We had fun exploring both towns. We recommend this property and will stay again!

Far from luxury home and a failure as a premier host

Walked in, house was completely filthy/disgusting, wasn't cleaned, thick dust/hair on furniture, crumbs/food on couches, bathrooms were gross/stains all over, animal hair everywhere, and food left in microwave/kitchen sink. Tried to call owner, he doesn't take phone calls, only messages thru VRBO, which we finally received a response after over an hour. Cleaning person then arrived 45 minutes after that. We were told to be patient, host never apologized, he never said he was sorry. And he told cleaning person it wasn't a priority, get there whenever, next day is fine, which they told us. True class on display right there. House had some nice upgrades, but nothing worthwhile. Would never stay at a property of this so called "premier" host ever again. Good luck to those of you who do book this place, word to the wise bring your own cleaning supplies, you might need them.
