Quiet and beautiful place to stay with amazing views!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and absolutely loved our trip. The property was even better than the pictures and so clean and comfortable. The view from the porch was just amazing! This was a quiet community, it’s right on the main road but you wouldn’t know it. Everything was as described in the listing, and we were so pleased. The property manager was great and even reached out to us before we checked in to let us know there was an internet outing in the area just in case it wasn’t fixed by the time we got there. We really enjoyed our time here and said we would stay here again when we came to Maine again!

We had a great stay. The pool was lovely, and the location is terrific. There are lots of great restaurants, the beach is amazing, and a little shops were fun to visit.

Unit

The unit was very clean , except for the bed. Upon entry into the unit it looked very clean . However , when we turned the bed down we immediately noticed grit / sand . After seeing that we pulled the covers down and found SEVERAL hairs of all shapes and sizes . It was nasty . The sheets had obviously not been changed . Thankfully there were extra sheets in the closet, so we changed them. This was the only complain we had .

Don't judge a book by its cover.

We've been vacationing in Maine for many years now and have driven by the Belle of Maine hundreds of times and never even saw the place. It's like so many places along the shore that you never even notice it. Even going there we drove right past it the first time and had to turn around and go back. When we went into the unit we were pleasantly surprised. Everything was newly redone and it was done nicely. New floors, new kitchen and appliances, new bathroom, full size fridge, and everything you need to cook and eat with. It was nicely decorated and comfortable to hang out in. A large living room with tv and a separate bedroom with another tv. The only negative I can give is with the television situation, there is no cable tv, only Roku streaming sticks on each television. I did not have a problem with this as I own one of the original Roku devices and carry it with us whenever we go on trips so we always have a way to stream things in case of bad weather and being stuck inside. So I've been using one for many years and did not have any issues using the ones there. The only thing I wish is they had them in guest mode so I could log into my own Roku account and use that. While I did not have a problem with it I think a lot of people would not have any idea how to use a Roku device. So just be aware of that, you're on the shore and you're probably not watching tv unless it's raining. We would definitely stay in this unit again.

Amazing stay

We were comfortable with 4 adults and a baby. This was the cleanest vacation rental we have ever stayed in so props to the housekeeper. It also was equipped with supplies that are typically forgotten about: cooking/kitchen supplies, hand soap, trash bags, sponge, etc. The property was well maintained and the view of the ocean was beautiful. It was also a convenient location. We’re able to walk to breakfast and dinner - a quick drive to the beach or walk if you’re extra motivated.
