Maine coast half marathon

My friend and I stayed here for the Maine coast half marathon. The location was ideal and the property was clean. There was a lack of air flow because of the set up but we opened the porch door and were able to get a nice breeze and listen to the thunderstorms that afternoon. The tv did not work or connect to cable and there were not plugs next to each bed. Otherwise we would definitely recommend and stay again.

Easy registration and check in. Good location! Neat and clean studio apartment. Dark. Bedroom needs better lighting, perhaps ceiling fan and over head light. There is a distinct smell that needed deodorants to mask. The supplied Febreze fan deodorizer was out of pods and we could not find replacements in either apartment or local stores. Bathroom was clean, but mildew and poor caulking around tub and sink. Toweling and sheets were very clean! Bedspreads needed some cleaning. Floors, walls and ceilings looked well maintained. Screen porch was nice but could use some “love”. Bed was soft for our taste and sheets are way too big for bed size, causing bunching and need for constant adjustment. Kitchen appliances worked well. Old table needs table cloth. TV adequate, but could use an upgrade and better replacement. Internet adequate but spotty.

Decent space. Close to the beach. Smells like old cigarette smoke inside but if you can get past that it’s worth the money and decent stay. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Shower pressure was amazing! Pool is extremely cold so don’t book just for that reason though.

I did not dislike it . It was ok the outside was nice the inside of condo was awful desperate need for update . The furniture and furnishings were ancient dark and gloomy . The ac was on the side of refrigerator hot in the bedrooms. Half the lights did not work. The toilet was for a midget. Sorry !!!!!!

Location was ideal for our travels, and a plus to be close by to local restaurants. Comfort wise, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and small. you cannot fit two adults comfortably on the bed, leading to poor sleep the whole vacation. With no windows, the only option for fresh air is opening the screen door, which lead us to find that the back door to the property was left unlocked upon arrival. Due to the rain, my partner and I decided to watch a movie from the clubhouse on the dvd player provided, but the dvd player did not work. Thankfully the local cable channels worked. Side note, the listing says 3 double beds, when there are only 2(they weren’t needed obviously but still worth editing). Overall, the visit was convenient, but uncomfortable. I would not plan another stay here unfortunately.

Wells retreat

The location of this property was very convenient for a small family looking for a getaway. The grounds we met very nice. The interior of the condo was quite musty. The comforters were stained and had a mold like odor to them. The bathroom toilet seat was broken off and requires careful “balancing” during our stay. The floors were in need of cleaning. The home was equipped with basic amenities and did provide a convenient base to enjoy the Maine activities and beaches. The unit would do rather well with a thorough cleaning and updating of bedding and bath towels and bathroom hardware.

Place was SUPER clean, easy to access, and a 3 second walk to the pool. T.V. easy to use. LOTS of towels. Great location, restaurants and shops near by. 3 things I did not love: 1. The sheets and pillows low quality and itchy. 2. The screen door from the back porch was down and stored awkwardly inside the back porch. 3. No windows so not much ventilation. Not sure If there's an AC?
