Shop, supermarket 50 m, restaurant, bakery 10 m, 1 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.0 km, railway station "Wengen" 20 m, outdoor swimming pool 500 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 50 m, children's playground 100 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Partly with sloping ceilings, renovated in 2025, comfortable and modern furnishings: living/dining room with 2 wall-trunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), cable TV, flat screen, CD-player and DVD. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 double bed (180 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 2 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, fondue Set (cheese)). Shower/WC, sep. WC. Underfloor heating. Balcony. Balcony furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: suitable for families. Non-smokers only.

Family friendly Wengen apt

Overall this place was good, but may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Here’s some things to note:Pro’s: convenient location, great view, very clean and Wengen is super family friendly townCons:Very out of date apartment (appliances, furniture and furnishings, zero amenities (u get one bottle of cheap generic hand soap and you better bring everything else you need, lengthy check-out task list for guests.

Great Location

The apartment is in a great location, on the fourth floor with a balcony looking out to the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Spectacular! The apartment itself is a little worn but it was clean and everything worked. The bathtub/shower walls are several inches higher than those on tubs in the U.S., so folks with leg mobility limitations will have to be careful - it's a bigger step-over.Overall, we were very satisfied with the apartment. A definite recommendation!

Perfect position

Situated right next to the little railway station, the property is perfectly situated for trips to other areas and many walking tracks. The comfortable ‘70’s’ style interior is well- maintained.

convenient location, nice view

we are a family of 4 traveling with elderly parents. the location can not be better. apartment is right at train station (first building when you walk out). and Co-op supermarket is right across street where we can buy groceries and prepare meals sometimes. it has everything we need on vacation. and Wengen is a nice quiet town with splendid views.

Good apartment in a great location

The apartment is in a perfect location, right next to the train station, with incredible views of the valley and mountains from the balcony. Plenty of restaurants nearby, a bakery steps away, as well as the Coop market. The furnishings are a little bit dated but perfectly functional. We used this as a base to explore both sides of the Lauterbrunnen valley. It's very easy to get around by train, cable car, or bus. We had an awesome 3 days in the area.

Entsprach nicht unseren Vorstellungen

Da im Schlafzimmer die Dachfenster nicht geöffnet werden durften, mußten wir ins Wohnzimmer in die Klappbetten. Wir - wie Sie - benötigen im Schlafzimmer nämlich IMMER frische Luft! Wir vermissten zudem einen Tresor für Kredit-, Debitkarten und Bargeld etc. Die Wohnungszimmertür schient uns so labil, dass jedermann mit einem Tritt in der Whg. stehen könnte. In der gesamten 4. Etage wohnte vermutlich außer uns niemand. Das Haus war kaum bewohnt, so kam es uns vor.

Great Wengen Apartment

The apartment was great. The location is extremely convenient and the view from the balcony outstanding. I loved Wengen better than the other locations we visited in the Alps. The apartment was well maintained and well stocked. I would highly recommend the apartment and Wengen.

Great view and location close to train station and everything in Wengen. This is our third stay at the Eiger. Four people can stay in this condo. Should update furnishings. Best view in Wenngen. We will go back

Beautiful view and very convenient

We are a mature couple and this apartment was perfect for us. It is spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of closet and storage space. There is one full bathroom and a separate one with a toilet and sink. It has a balcony with a beautiful view of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and the Jungfrau peak. It is just across the street from the train station so is very convenient. You can be on the train within one minute from leaving the apartment. It is also a one minute walk to the grocery store. Even though it is across from the train station it is quiet because there is no traffic in Wengen and the trains are electric so are very quiet. The apartment was clean and well accommodated. The management office is just next door to the building and is convenient if needed. This apartment would sleep 4. The one private bedroom is spacious with the European style double/twin beds together. The other two twin beds come out from the wall in the living room. I would stay at this apartment again and I would recommend it.
