2-family house "Gertsch". In the centre of Wengen, in a central, busy position. In the house: bar. Pre-arrival grocery service. Shop, grocery, restaurant 10 m, bakery 50 m, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.1 km, railway station "Wengen" 100 m, outdoor swimming pool 600 m. Cable car, skisport facilities 30 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.
"Haus Gertsch Apt.G", 2-room apartment 50 m2 on 1st floor. Comfortable and cosy furnishings: living/dining room with 2 fold-away beds (80 cm, length 180 cm), cable TV and radio. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds (90 cm, length 200 cm), 1 double bed (2 x 90 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (3 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra). Shower/WC. Electric heating, boiler. Small balcony. Balcony furniture. View of the mountains. Facilities: iron, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smokers only.

AMAZING!!!!

Interhome was a pleasure to work with, although we didn't get a chance to meet and thank directly in Wengen. After hours processes were very easy. The apartment was great size and furnished nicely. The balcony overlooking the main street in Wengen was awesome with amazing views. It was only two of us, so we didn't get affected by the noise from the bar next door as the bedroom is in the rear of the apartment. If the front room is used... the bar could be a nuisance for you. We WILL be back.

Wengen is a delight

The rental company was very easy to work with and responsive to questions in a timely manner. The apartment was clean and well equipped for our family of 5. Only drawbacks, there is an odd scent in the apartment we never figured out (not horrible, just noticeable every time you enter the apartment) and the back bedroom is situated over a bar and restaurant so there was a lot of noise coming from late night clean up and early morning prep work. Bathroom is pretty dated and shower is small. Wifi is not available at this apartment. There was a little cafe set on the patio overlooking the street and my husband and I enjoyed sitting out there and people watching. Wengen was a lovely town with many restaurants and grocery stores. It was a great base for exploring the many other towns in the Jungfrau region. I would definitely recommend staying in Wengen!
