Beautiful apartment house "Rose". On the outskirts, 700 m from the centre, in a sunny position on a slope, south-west facing position. In the house: central heating system. Shop, grocery, supermarket 700 m, restaurant 350 m, 10 minute walk to the centre, bus stop "Lauterbrunnen (by train)" 3.7 km, railway station "Wengen" 700 m, outdoor swimming pool 900 m. Tennis, cable car, skisport facilities, ski school, ice rink 700 m. Well-known lakes can easily be reached: Thunersee 13 km, Brienzersee 13 km. Please note: car-free holiday complex. Arrival via mountain railway. Additional accommodations can be booked. The house has been newly built in chalet style. ,Arrival is only possible by train from Lauterbrunnen – 14 minutes driving time.

Kitchenette (2 ceramic glass hob hotplates, toaster, kettle, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Nespresso) extra, combination microwave). Shower/WC. Underfloor heating. Balcony, south-west facing position. Terrace furniture. Very beautiful panoramic view of the mountains and the valley. Facilities: hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Maximum 1 pet/ dog allowed.

Sufficient
Clean apartment a bit away, but overall sufficient. Nice view however. Bare minimum on supplies though. No hand soap, only one pillow per person (should be at least two) one paper tower roll. Good for a home base, but not for extravagant plans.

Good not perfect
Good points: Clean, fine view from the balcony, quiet, all equipment in working order. Not-so-good points: No cutting board (an essential for all European houses), no brush for washing dishes, distant from the center of town and all amenities (Coop, bakery, restaurants, start for most expeditions). Over-all, a fine stay at a reasonable price, however.
