Not sure how to rate this. It has to be rated by Chuuk standards, not the standards that I probably and you are used to in America, Europe and higher end hotels in Asia.
Don't expect the TV or the elevator to work, or the plumbing not to leak.
It is convenient. When you step out of the airport terminal turn left walk across the street and you are there!. Don't even need their free shuttle, or taxi.
They also rent cars there just pick one up at the front desk reasonable price.
The island in general has a problem, actually many problems, having to do with infrastructure.
Trash accumulates all over the place, as no one picks it up. There is a landfill, but most of the trash is not there.
There's no way to remove dead cars off the island, or crush them, so there are thousands of them festering around and people's front yards backyards side yards, along the sidewalks...on vacant lots...
Definitely third world.
The roads aren't any good, so expect that.
But the people are great. Love them and their kind helpful attitudes.
Now you know what to expect, so go there and enjoy the beautiful ocean and shores.
But don't forget, $30 departure tax and you don't even get internet at the airport terminal for that!

Staff was amazing. They did everything possible to make us comfortable. This was a challenge, as all the restaurants were closed on New Year's Day. They drove us everywhere needed for reasonable cost. The internet was good, strong AC, large room. Very nice touch to have a filtered water machine (cold and hot) in the room.

Staff are super friendly. Convenient location next to the airport, second best restaurant on the island right downstairs, most modern hotel on the island. Home away from home.

Looks a bit shady from outside but looks can be deceiving! Clean rooms, great food, excellent service and friendly staff is what i found and experienced here! Plus it's a quick walk from the airport and you are able to rent a car from here if you want to explore. The only thing I wish they had was a gift shop or store on site.
