"I moved to the Holiday Inm Express on the Bund after staying at the one in Putong (which wasn’t worth the 4-star it’s being given). This one hotel is right across the street from the Yu Gardens and the Bazaar and fairly close to Nanjing Street, French Concession, etc.
The hotel staff was so incredibly helpful (thank you, Clover), the breakfast VERY good, the room modern and clean, the laundry room spacious. Loved it and I wished I stayed there the whole time I was in Shanghai.
I just wish the workout room I closed some weights and was separated from the laundry- feels strange running on the treadmill with people ironing and folding their laundry.
