The house and property came exactly as advertised and was exactly what we needed for a little weekend getaway.Everything was clean and ready when we arrived. Checking in and out was smooth. We are considering booking another weekend for next summer.

Holiday stay

We had a great stay over the holiday break! Located in a quiet area, lots of great areas for us to take our dog for a walk. Pet friendly was a major factor for us and worked out well. Cottage is cozy and was great for spending time altogether over the holidays. Very responsive communication from host made it possible to extend our stay for an additional day. Thanks!

Cozy cottage

We stayed 1st week of July 2024. This cottages has been recently renovated, great lake view from balcony and a more incredible view from the dock, lake water was clean and refreshing to swim in. The cottage is located in a remote area with not much else to do. Upon arrival we noticed the BBQ was extremely dirty with rusty burners and heavy grease markings on the frame. The bedrooms are situated on the lower level, it was very damp, the main bedroom comfort was ok but the 2nd bedroom's 2 beds were extremely uncomfortable. Also note, to reach the dock on the water you must descend / climb 100 stairs that have been recently built and are in good condition with hand railings.

Peaceful and fun

Very nice property. Everything is spot on clean. The host was always in touch checking in on us. The hit tub is clean. The game boxes were entertaining as well as the ping pong table. The biggest down side is the mattress, it dips in the middle, very difficult to sleep in. The water smells like rotten eggs.

Cottage from hell

When we got to the cottage the property was not maintained and the grass was over ankle length. We walked into the cottage and the temperature was at 30degrees Celsius and no AC as promised.They left 2 fans still in boxes uninstalled and no tools for us to put them together. When we called to complain we were told that the app clearly states no AC on property which is clearly doesn’t. And I specifically asked in the chat and they confirmed there was. We’re told to open windows and that should help, when we opened the window two of the screens fell so we couldn’t keep the windows open due to bugs and security. Fridge was broken and we lost all our groceries. They told us they would bring us a new fridge but they didn’t get it until the 3rd day of our vacation and left the old fridge behind in the middle of the very small kitchen. When I tried To go to the lake to cool down, one of the steps broke and I nearly fell over a dozen feet down. In addition alarm went off randomly, lost power due to storm which shut off the water pump, we had no water, no flashlights or candles, the couch was broken, shower door broken, fixture broken off the wall, no propane for bbq, screen door off the tracks. Owner refused to reimburse us for cottage,only paid for half the groceries, and still fighting VRBO for a refund. Worst vacation, horrible cottage, and VRBO should be ashamed to endorse it and not make us whole on our experience. Can’t upload videos here so can’t show the entire horror show.

Chalet confortable et bien équipé

Chalet joliment décoré et équipé.Nous n’avons pas ou profiter de l’extérieur à cause du mauvais temps quel dommageVue du chalet sur la lac sympathique Nous recommandons Noter par contre qu’il n’y a pas grand choses pour manger dehors et faire des courses dans les environs mais ce qui existe suffit pour un week-end

Maison agréable et bien située

C'était très bien outre des petits détails. Il serait apprécié que l'eau du spa soit changée plus régulièrement, et fournir des lampes de chevet fonctionnelles plutôt que décoratives

Très belle emplacement,très beau quai pour baignade et passer la journée a picniquer

En général très bien. Seulement quelques manques, Gaz manquant pour Bbq, quelque poêle pour cuisson a changer. Sinon beau séjours agréable et très plaisant.
