Cosy pension, sweet hostess. Good location.

Pension Barbara is a very cosy and clean pension right next to the paths leading up to The Brocken. The hostess was very sweet and attentive, and we had a good stay. Schierke as a town is a bit dated and quiet in the autumn, when we visited. Is was difficulty to find a place to just have a couple of drinks etc. The national park, Brocken and paths are all excellent for a short hiking-holiday. Great nature, chalenging paths (if you want it), nice restaurant on the summit.

Tee sollte immer da sein sowie heißes Wasser. Als Vegetarier will man keine Wurst Platte und Obst wäre nicht schlecht gewesen. Dunkle statt nur helle Brötchen wäre schön

Angenehme Unterkunft

Eine sehr freundliche Besitzerin, angenehmes Zimmer ohne viel Komfort, einfach gestaltet, aber sehr sauber und gemütlich. Frühstück insgesamt gut, viel Auswahl an Käse und Wurst, auch vegetarisches. Schöne Lage, um im Harz, speziell auf den Brocken, zu wandern!

Eine einfache, aber saubere Pension in zentraler Lage mit einer überaus freundlichen Wirtin, die immer einen guten Tipp hat. Das Frühstück war gut. Die Zimmer sauber und sehr groß. Die Ausstattung war nicht modern, aber gepflegt. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und würden die Pension wieder buchen, wenn wir einen Aufenthalt in Schierke erwägen. Die zahlreichen Wanderwege gehen direkt vor der Haustür los. Schierke ist etwas verschlafen, aber es gibt ausreichend Restaurants und Cafes, die eine gute Auswahl haben.

Unterkunft mit familiärer Atmosphäre.

Sehr freundliche Frau Lehmann. Zimmer anstandslos gut. Matratzen und Betten prima. Ein Frühstücksei wäre prima gewesen. Sonst durchweg sehr zufrieden.
