“The stay was a wonderful break and the location superb, fab access direct to warrain beach and a few hundred metres walk to Culburra beach. Lots of kitchen supplies over and above what is usual - olive oils, lots of coffee capsules, glad bake, condiments etc.... the cleaning was below par , very dusty fireplace, cobwebs, skirting, kitchen splashback smears etc that for the price, would not have expected. Maybe just a nudge to the cleaners is all that is needed. There was a security camera……

The finishes in this home are magnificent with a massive attention to detail and build quality. I am a choreographer and my partner is a builder now investment trader and our accomodation standards are very high and this place most certainly meets everything. “Coastal Capers was the perfect place for a family getaway. It was a clean, open and well styled house, with 5 bedrooms, a large dining table to seat all of us and a lounge area that opened out to an outdoor/ undercover area, which was great for entertaining. It was in the perfect location, 10 min walk to the beach, 5 min walk to the local bowling club and local shops/ cafes/ restaurants. The only thing that I would add to the house would be an extra shower as one bathroom was inconvenient with 7……

“Great place, very comfortable and well stocked. Lots of toys for dogs and children. 2 minute walk from the beach that allows dogs. Cute little town in walking distance with cafes and a bar. The place was clean and tidy, lots of spare pillows, blankets, towels. Very pet friendly. ”

“Very disappointed that the rules and regulations in the tenancy agreement we had to sign before we could get the address and key code were so lengthy with multiple fines for everything including using more than 1 towel each for the duration of our stay, that we felt we didn’t dare touch anything and couldn’t relax for the 3 days we were there. The owner then drove into the front garden the day after we arrived and knocked on the door to ‘get something from the shed’ but didn’t introduce himself……

“We enjoyed our stay at Illaroo Beach House, especially the easy beach access and the spa, which was a lovely bonus on colder days. The host was helpful and responsive. We stayed with grandparents, so the multiple levels and stairs were a bit inconvenient, and the hot water ran out after several showers. Overall, a comfortable stay in a great location.”
