“Need more updates”

“We weren’t put on a higher floor as indicated at booking. When questioned we were told there was a leak/problem on 5th floor. Hoping for another corner room on a higher floor [than 1] we were shown alternative rooms that were smaller. Additionally the pillows were stained with red juice or wine. Considering the newness of the hotel more was expected. The front desk manager, Ebony was firm and proactive with training she’ll be a great. However the hotel could do better should be better……

“This hotel was conveniently located for our trip. They need some improvements on the back balcony. The rooms were nice, clean the air condition was cool, but the staffs were amazing. From the breakfast to the bar and the reception.”

“First off, the hotel itself is good, clean and quiet. The security guard at night was very friendly, kind and caring to us. The front desk staff were very rude and disrespectful. They should not be working there or even talking to customers. They have attitude problems and thinks we owe them. This hotel is highway robbery. I booked a double bed room and because we’re we’re 3 adults and a child he had to pay an addition amount per night. One night only 2 adults slept in the room, and Jelicia……

“This hotel can do better when paying at the hotel site. I booked on Expedia and quoted USD hence there is no reason that upon presenting my US credit card I am told there is a fee for using this card. The preferred option from the hotel point of view is to pay in local dollars. I didn’t have local dollars so I used a Guyana debit card which carried less fees.”

“the room was very clean, bathroom nicely tiled, and was spacious - hot water to shower was abundant. Parking was good and the owner allowed me to park on the hotel's front driveway. Very close to banks. GRA is one straight drive on camp street. I didn't like the breakfast - only took the breakfast one day - the other days I ate out (not a problem for me)”

“The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom.”
