I would be hesitant in recommending this house. As others have mentioned, there is a slight odor noticeable as soon as you walk in. It's a bit dated, which I'm fine with, but having to fight with the utensil drawer to open and not fall on your foot each time is quite annoying. The interior stairs are uneven and seem very unsafe. The driveway, walkways and front steps were complete ice when we arrived. We needed a running start with an all wheel drive SUV just to get up to the house. We did receive snow over night which was great. Anticipating this, we parked so we could go straight down the driveway in the morning if it wasn't plowed. Later that morning I reached out to make sure the driveway would be cleared during the day as there was no way we would be able to get back up. I never heard back. We arrived back at the house after skiing around 5 PM and it seemed this was the only house on the street that wasn't cleared. With no where to park on the street I began walking up to the house to grab a shovel so I could clear a spot on the road. Luckily we saw a plow truck and was able to flag him down to clear the driveway. I'm not sure if he was contracted for that property or not, but he saved me a nightmare of a time shoveling. The location was close to the mountain which was great. A little maintenance and updating would go a long way for making this a great rental.
