Our hosts were very kind, and put generous effort into providing delicious breakfasts, giving suggestions about local attractions, and allowing us as much or as little cat time as we wanted. The room we were in was very cozy, with a comfortable bed, and thoughtful touches such as a water kettle for tea or coffee, a small fridge, and a TV setup we didn’t take advantage of. 「I arrived after dark and the hotel and the village were like a magical New England winter scene with sparkling lights everywhere. The proximity of the hotel to a typical New England church and numerous white painted wooden framed structures was a scene from our historical heritage. The hotel was reopened less than a year ago after extensive renovations. The outcome is a GEM. Decorations deserve an A+.」

「Harvest Barn Inn was the perfect place to stay warm on a freezing Vermont winter weekend. We absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere - homemade cookies, endless tea, plenty of books, and beautiful views. The three-course weekend breakfast was the highlight of our stay. Blessing and Kaelan were very communicative and friendly hosts. 」

「Parking was right in front of the building. The place was very clean all over. Breakfast was included, they served pastries, bagels, yogurt, etc. Super easy check in process. The Chalet is only about a 5 minute drive from mount snow! So grateful to the staff who texted me to let me know we had left something behind and the room when they went to clean it! 」

「It's a great B&B. However, expedia does NOT tell you that if you check in outside of normal hours (3-6pm) you need an appointment because it is run by an actual host. Just call and schedule your arrival with them! Room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great.」
