"What started out as a very nice “luxury” hotel in Fargo, The Jasper has declined significantly. Other than a very uncomfortable bed, we had no complaints about the room itself. However, we found the common areas in the front desk and lounge areas to be dirty and unkept. Table tops uncleaned, grimy floors, dirty windows, etc. Service at the bar and in the lounge areas was terrible. Workers in worn and dirty black t-shirts do not project a luxury vibe. Even so that could be overlooked if the staff was more interested in serving customers than they were in visiting with each other. Just an overall disappointing experience, especially when paying a premium hotel price. "

"Nothing of the equipment worked,tried it but nothing. Rooms were clean, but heat was hit or miss. Either too hot or too cool. Breakfast was not great. Not much choice. We were told pool was closed for cleaning when we arrived on February 28th. Young man working the desk seemed like he didn't know when it would reopen. It was open the next day. Lot of ice by the exit closest to the pool area. Will probably not stay here again. It is in a good location but for what you get seems a little over priced. "
