The Office Space is ideal and large enough to get your work done. Wifi is optimal as well. “We took the Amtrak from Portland, OR, to this lovely town for Spring Break the last week of March. The free SNOW bus was still running so there was no need for a rental car to get around town or up to the slopes. (Whitefish is an excellent place for first time skiers and snowboarders since they have cheap lessons, rentals, and optional lower lifts for beginners.) This VRBO property was exactly as advertised! About a 12 minute walk from the train station—7 minutes from a few different SNOW bus……

“This perfect sized homey apartment that sits above a garage, has its own secured entrance, beautiful views within a quiet neighborhood. Besides the entire place being cozy and full of amenities, the owners filled the place with so many little niceties ie. freshly ground coffee, bottled water, mints, popcorn, breakfast bars, shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc. We slept like logs due to the beds and pillows being so comfortable. The unit was very clean, perfect size, the furnishings were comfortable……

“Great location as it is right downtown. The beds were comfy. My children loved the playroom upstairs and the bunkbed below and the basket of games and toys. The place is clean and quiet. Glacier Getaways always answered our texts right away. They thought of everything, they even texted my cell with the key codes though they had also sent that to us in an email. We'd come back for sure.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at Hiker's Rest. The location is convenient to the west entrance of Glacier National Park, and it is located in a beautiful forest. Property has all the expected amenities. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars in all categories is that the check-in instructions through VRBO had incorrect information about the wifi. A quick check with the owners straightened that out. There is a white book with all sorts of instructions in the house, but that also wasn't mentioned……

All of the necessary home appliances/tools were made available, making things very convenient for us during our stay. The driveway was very spacious, including a shaded area, making it very easy to park our van. We look forward to the opportunity of staying here again soon. Anyone wanting to fly in and stay for a week of hiking will have no problem preparing all meals from the well-equipped kitchen. The internet was super fast so those who need to do a little work on the side will be taken care of as well. There is a 24-hour grocery store in town just down the hill. “I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay while visiting Glacier National Park. Sherry was so helpful and kind. She provided basic food supplies and the place was spotless! She provided toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, and filters. The location is perfect with only a 20 minute drive to West Glacier entrance and 2 minutes to downtown restaurants, grocery store and laundromat. I will definitely stay with Sherry again when I come to Glacier! Thank you for a great stay!”
