“Very clean comfy bed. The shower broke when I was using it.”

“I don’t mean to be too harsh or rude but while I was there the only thing I could confidently say is that it was extremely close to a breakfast spot. When I checked in I was happy with the staff and the owner/manager. He was very nice and friendly but when I went into my room it appeared clean. There were stains on the pillows and the toilet didn’t work. I noticed a couple stains on the towels and the bathtub had a stain from the old mat that used to be there. “Staffs are nice, but the bed sheets and pillow cases have weird stains on them but still good. The street roads were being fixed when I visited so it was dusty if you book a ground floor. Though I loved the idea of the sliding door on the ground floor room I booked because my car is literally in front of my room. This was convenient when getting your stuff in room and during check out. Overall it’s a nice stay”

“Danby House is a very inviting bed and breakfast. It is extremely clean - zero dust, beds made to perfection, you feel like you are in an expensive hotel, bathrooms clean and shiny with soaps and towel, etc. The rooms are exactly as the photos describe/show online. We stayed in The Yellow Rose suite which has a king bed in one end of the spacious living room which has a gas fireplace. There is also a separate bedroom. “Check in was good - checked in early and our room was ready. Toilet was a bit plugged on our arrival into the room but was fixed when we came back at night. Only complaint was the vacuuming in the hallway before 8 a.m. on Sunday morning! We had looked forward to sleeping in a bit after a long day previous, but that is certainly not a complain against eager and friendly staff - just personal preference. 8 a.m. vacuuming with an 11 a.m. checkout wasn't what we were expecting!”

“My employees arrived on a work trip at property to find it under construction, with the pool closed, homeless vagrants attempting to gain access to hotel through propped open exterior doors and being given a drink box and a yogurt for what was described as being a full breakfast being served. None of this was shared on Expedia website in hotel description. Bate and switch”
