「My parents and I had dinner and stayed a night at The Fourth Lock before heading home the next morning. The food was delicious and the restaurant's ambiance was wonderful with beautiful views of the lake. The room we stayed at was very spacious, clean and comfortable and also had an excellent view of the lake. Highly recommended!」

「This is a lovely property with so much story and heart to it. We were welcomed from the moment we drove into the driveway. They made effort to give us an ice box to keep our food cool. The room was clean, comfortable and with lots of character. We had a lovely bed, desk, chairs and rocking chair by the window. It was lovely. 「Mike & Adele were excellent hosts. The accommodations were lovely. The breakfast was amazing. I didn’t use the pool, but it was immaculate. I can’t say enough about my stay - it was extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend this property. I give it a “10” !!!!」

「Beautiful rooms, very clean and very nice space, very comfortable and cozy. We chose a unit with a full kitchen as our stay was a week long and we needed to be able to easily have a relaxed schedule - and options if we chose to stay in. This worked out great! Outside sitting areas were lovely and we could sit out on our front porch! Staff was amazing. Any request was very quickly responded to and completed- it was very wonderful. Thank you all!! I highly recommend The Gingerbread House.」

「Sheets did not fit bed. Hot tub was nice touch. Since breakfast was advertised as included, but not, no where close to get anything. Second day, we drove to Kentville for breakfast. (which was good)」
