“This is a great place and breakfast is amazing. My only issue was that it is on the Main Street and traffic noise is loud. I always travel with ear plugs because it has happened to me before. Don’t let this discourage you from staying just pack your ear plugs.”

“We had our breakfast freshly cooked for us by Normand each morning. He was a lovely host. The whole house is lovingly presented in Victorian elegance. A great end to our Canadian adventure ”

“Amazing home and grounds. A feast for the eyes when we first arrived. Absolutely beautiful heritage home. Room was stunning. Unfortunately, we only stayed one night as it was our last stop before heading home. Excellent proximity to airport. Really wish we had more time to enjoy this lovely property! We had to leave before breakfast so cannot comment on that.”

“Sheets did not fit bed. Hot tub was nice touch. Since breakfast was advertised as included, but not, no where close to get anything. Second day, we drove to Kentville for breakfast. (which was good)”

“Beautiful rooms, very clean and very nice space, very comfortable and cozy. We chose a unit with a full kitchen as our stay was a week long and we needed to be able to easily have a relaxed schedule - and options if we chose to stay in. This worked out great! Outside sitting areas were lovely and we could sit out on our front porch! Staff was amazing. Any request was very quickly responded to and completed- it was very wonderful. Thank you all!! I highly recommend The Gingerbread House.”

“This was one of the most unique rooms we have stayed in, my wife loved the oversized jacuzzi tub, coffee was great, and opening the blinds in the large window in the morning just let the day in.”
