Clean and Friendly
Everything was clean and well equipped with laundry, BBQ, and a fire pit - my kids were all very excited to get there own rooms (with TVs!), and we were happy to cozy up and relax. The place was quiet, and deer island was as advertised, we saw loads of deer and everyone we met was so friendly. After driving here from Ontario, it was the perfect place to relax and vacation.

Beyond Expectations!
The hosts left no detail unattended!- from the beuty of the location, the beauty of the home- Our hosts provided everything you could need. I was hosting my team for a retreat and we were coking large meals- typically kitchens are stocked with the bare minimum- this one had everything you needed- form cooking items to providing coffee and tea -In addition beds were comfortable and linens beautiful- lots of space - even wood for firepit! Cannot say enough about this place - we will be back! Thank you for openning this beautiful home for our enjoyment!

Great experience!
Lovely house located on a charming island. Myself, my kids and some of our friends stayed for 3 nights and we were all very impressed with the house and property. Very clean with new appliances and very comfortable beds. Don't worry if you forgot something at home, all the essentials are there! Firewood was also provided so we could enjoy the evenings. If it's raining, there are multiple TVs and wifi. We all enjoyed taking the free ferry to and from the Island. The hosts were very prompt in answering messages and had no issues at all when we wanted to extend our stay another night last minute. Definitely recommend!

Great location !
The property was well positioned to enjoy all the activities we had planned for our Maritime adventure. The hosts did a great job making us feel welcome, and it was great to have a few pantries available as everything on the island closes at 8pm and the ferry ride wouldn’t be fun for just some forgotten salt and pepper! Communication was great and although we had no issues during our stay, I am confident the hosts were only a call away as their frequent check-ins via the VRBO app were appreciated. The rental itself has beautiful scenery right outside, where the tranquil sound of the waterfall and frequent wildlife sighting is a mini vacation in itself. Thank you for a great vacation we hope to be back again in the future.

Please note, this house is located not at Grand Manan Island, however it constantly appear under Grand Manan search properties. We have booked this place in error thinking that we are booking a house at Grand Manan, we were on our way on the ferry when we found out that we have booked the wrong place. The Host was notified immediately but they refused provide us with any kind of refund (we were charged in full even the cleaning fees despite we have never arrived to that house). The Host was not willing to discuss any options of resolving the situation. We are very disappointing and feel unsupportive and scammed.

This was the perfect homebase to explore Deer Island. The space is lovely and quite spacious. The yard is wonderful to hang around in.
