The house itself is big and beautiful. The low rating for our stay is mostly the extreme lack of communication with the host. After completing the booking, I asked a question regarding sleeping accommodations as an infant was with us. 1 month later I had still not received a response so I submitted the question again. They replied and said they would get back to me, never did. After reviewing the details of the house about a week prior to arriving, I noted a sentence stating the pool was unavailable until further notice. I contacted them again to confirm the pool was available as the main listing, photos and amenities all state a pool is available. One of the main reasons for booking this house was for the pool, size of house and garage, as we were a large party attending my daughter's wedding. Finally after a few more requests to confirm the pool was available, they replied, yes. The listing states check in information will be provided up to 3 days prior to check in. With less than 24 hrs to check in I had to reach out again requesting check in information. The check in information had incorrect wifi info and now stated the garage was not included, which was greatly disappointing as we were relying on. Several requests went out asking for the correct wifi password, among other questions about the appliances and household items, which no reply was ever received during the entire stay!! We have stayed at many places and have never received such poor lack of communication.
