I really enjoyed our stay! The home has some very nice upgrades and the view is absolutely beautiful. The host was very communicative and made everything easy. The location is perfect, close to campus and convenient to get around. The amenities were great and made my stay extra comfortable and relaxing. I’ll definitely be back!

Our Peaceful Getaway

Fantastic stay! We were very busy during the day and our VRBO provided the peaceful haven we needed. House was immaculate, comfortable and lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for is

The Riverside Retreat was perfect for a family visit to Purdue. The house was nicer than we imagined and was so thoughtfully decorated. It was also in a great location, close to the university, and relaxing with a beautiful view of the river. We loved it and hope to stay there again!

Great Home!

Our family stayed in this incredibly nice home while visiting West Lafayette! It had everything we needed and more. It is very well put together and very comfortable. We stayed during Christmas week and they were very gracious in putting up a Christmas tree for us to make it feel more like home. Thank you for everything!

Family weekend

We stayed here to celebrate my granddaughters birthday. It was a great place for a cook out with local family. The grill is fabulous and the outside furniture is very nice. The house was an 8 minute drive to Columbia park where we enjoyed the zoo, the new playground and water slides. Perfect location for the weekend!

Perfect stay for family of 5

The Riverside Retreat is your home away from home. Location is secluded enough to get you away from the city hustle, but still close enough with a short drive to enjoy the city. The house is roomy, clean and up to date. The host was very responsive and even allowed us to check in a little early. Not enough stars to give :)

Great house for family with kids

We really enjoyed our stay the Riverside Retreat. The house is surrounded by trees for a private setting but was still in close proximity to everything we needed to see and do while visiting. The place was clean and stocked for cooking meals at the house. We used the bbq a couple nights too. We didn’t notice until we were leaving but there is a bunch of board games that we’ll be sure to play next time we book!

Shady retreat

We loved our stay. The house was in a quite and safe neighborhood overlooking river. Felt like we were in the country. House very clean with upto date appliances. Everything worked properly. Lots of hot water to get through 5 showers. Lots of room too. Would definitely rent again.

Great home

The home was just wonderful. We enjoyed the big soft towels, shampoo and conditioners and comfy beds. It felt like a hotel stay. Location was great - close to Purdue. We watched football on the large TV and enjoyed the boiler makers theme. The outside space was a nice addition. I have nothing negative to say. Host checked up on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely come back again !

Exactly as pictured/described. Gorgeous sunlight & river views throughout (especially downstairs). Excellent location. Quiet area. Comfy, cozy home - easy to relax. Beds are as described by other guests - hard but somehow comfortable. Should our oldest choose Purdue, we'll be back for sure!
