Best Western The Plaza Hotel Honolulu Airport - Free Breakfast

"Room was clean. Staff very nice and helpful. Gym was sufficient although someone ran off with a 30 lb dumbbells. Two treadmills one upright bicycle, one recumbent bike. An elliptical machine. Weight room had a universal with one item written of his out of service. I believe it was the lat pull. Full set of dumbbells up to 50 lb. (sans 30s). Three TVs. The gym in general could use a little more air circulation. A couple of box fans would do wonders. Gym hours 0600-2200 (10:00 p.m. for civilians). This was excellent for this category of a hotel. Fresh food. Scrambled eggs. Breakfast meat. The bread products, didn't find anything that was whole wheat. Coffee, tea (Black and green), juice, three basic cereals. Hot chocolate, yogurt. No trays available to take food away. But go into your mini fridge and pull out the little white ice tray. It's sufficient for the task. 😜 Be advised although the ride up for the hotel says they have a restaurant on site, it's actually only for breakfast is it open. 0700 - 0900. It looks like there's an IHOP and a few other places within walking distance. Neighborhood seems safe. Hotel is close enough to the airport you could walk there and back. But if you have bags, just call their shuttle to come out. And they will bring you back out to the airport. Basic airport shuttle hours are leaving the hotel at the top of each hour. For you lap swimmers, I measured the length in its right about 14 yd long. Clean. Hours are 0900 until sunset. No kids at o"

"Our room was great just remolded. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Extremely clean. Good facilities business center, guest laundry, pool . Next to outlet mall great restaurants, movie theaters, shops. Breakfast included beware sub par at best. Waffles were ok. Powder eggs and bioengineered potatoes not good.Parking in mall parking lot but designated."

"We had a wonderful stay at Hyatt House Ho‘opili! The hotel is beautiful, new, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was so friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better. We also really enjoyed the breakfast—there were plenty of good choices, and everything was delicious. The only downside is the $42 daily parking fee, which I feel is a little expensive. But understandable, it’s Hawaii! Everyone does it. Other than that, we truly loved our stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend this hotel! 🌺❤️"

"The condo was great for our needs and was in excellent condition. I enjoyed the location in Ko'Olina which was close enough to the resorts, but far enough away to get away when you didn't want to be around a lot of tourist. Communication was great and the check in process was easy. Thanks for an enjoyable stay"

"If you are looking for peace and quiet, away from Waikiki, this is a perfect location. The Ko Olina area is beautiful and perfect for morning/evening walks. Unfortunately, the townhouse is over a mile from the beach and not walkable if you are carrying beach gear. There is a pool close by and a good option if you don't feel like hoofing it to the beach. There are only a couple of restaurants (that aren't in the Disney resort) and they are nearly two miles away. There is a little market where you can purchase food items but beware! A loaf of bread is over 10 (Yes, you read that right). I don't recommend staying in this area unless you have a car to get around. I was there for 30 days and the biggest expense was food. It is ridiculous how expensive it is to eat there. Two big breakfasts and two bottles of water at McDonalds was over 37 and that was not in a touristy area. The people who live in the townhouses are not friendly towards the people who are renting short-term. We said hello and tried to be cordial but were snubbed on more than one occasion, so we just stopped speaking to them. There was only one person that was friendly. Clearly they don't want renters there. I love Hawaii but I wouldn't rent/stay in this area again due to the distance from everything. I would stay in the Waikiki area where there is an abundance of restaurants, stores, entertainment, and you can walk everywhere."
