「We stayed for four nights. The view is amazing, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the grounds are nice. However, it seems like the property is being redone or there is a new owner and it is not fully operational yet. This place says it is 5 stars but it frankly isn’t. It does not have the amenities or service to claim being five stars. We were upgraded on arrival which was a nice surprise and made the stay better value. When we checked in we were told the bar was not operational....

「We first travelled to Stoupa in 2000, and in the 25 years since, we have been c20 times, and we can be called reliable judges of the good and excellent properties available in the area. 「4 nights for the jazz fest and I wish we’d booked a week!This place is perfect for 4 adults (I think using the advertised sofa bed would’ve been too cramped)Beautiful house about an hours drive from Kalamata airport. 5-10 minute walk down the hill to the village which was ideal to dip in and out of the music. The terrace with table chairs was ideal and the pool was very welcome! Great that pool towels and toiletries were included as it allowed us to travel hand-luggage only for a short break....

「The view was beautiful!! The property was clean and looked like the picture. We were definitely in the smallest room which looked different than online. Our biggest issue was the power going out from time to time , NO HOT WATER at all and trying to reach someone for any reason was impossible . All emails/ text seemed auto generated and no communication from the property made it difficult to communicate. Don't think I would return...」

The price we had to pay was to climb two flights of stairs to reach it, which we did mind at all. The room was clean and comfortable.
