“This cottage was outstanding! Loads of space and all the amenities we wanted/needed. Have rented cottages the last couple years this was the best cottage we have stayed at for kids. The amount of outdoor space, play set, and games were a hit. Also, the yard was fenced off from the water, which allowed us to let the kids play without worrying about them wandering too close! Sarah was so responsive and helpful, a wonderful host. Would recommend this cottage to anyone!”

“We arrived on a Thursday when the sun was shining. We sat on the comfy chairs at the water and enjoyed the quietness of the water and area. The home is lovely inside with inviting space for many people. There are 3 areas to enjoy a meal depending on your crowd size. The beds were comfy, pillows maybe not so much, but that is a personal preference. We had 5 adults in total staying at the time. There are 3 spaces to shower, while we tended to use the ensuite shower. Would recommend the property……

“If you're looking for luxury and modern amenities, this is not for you BUT if you are looking for solitude, peace and escape from city life go for it. It is a true cabin experience, does not come with sheets. Blankets are dated so walk with your own as I am not sure how often they get laundered. “My family really enjoyed our stay at Foxfire Heritage Farm. What a unique way to camp in the comfort of a 2 pod yurt. They had everything that we needed minus a shower. There was lots of firewood for our cold nights but it was only softwood...which had me up every couple hours to restoke. The beds were very comfortable and the power pack was such a convenience to keep our phones charged. We really loved being able to explore the property and visit with all the animals.
