“What a beautiful serene cottage on the lake. Our stay was impeccable…from the on going communication with the property manager to the card, flowers, and pie in the fridge. He knew we would be arriving late and went to turn on lights and make sure everything was ready for us to just hop in bed after a long day of traveling. “The house is on a beautiful pond (which is more like a lake) with beautiful sunsets and atmosphere (especially the loons!). It is actually quite convenient to grocery stores and other businesses. We enjoyed the grill, canoe and firepit. The bed is very comfortable, and the bathroom is roomy with great water pressure and hot water. Great spaces to hang out inside and outside. “This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!”

“We spent a week on Sheep Island in July 2024. We loved it. The accommodations were beautiful, the kitchen well enough equipped, the beds comfortable, the lake clean and the view amazing. “We have been renting on Long Lake for many years and were so happy that we found this cottage for our family this year. The cottage was better than advertised. All of the accommodations you could possibly need. The location on the lake is also amazing! We spent endless hours on the great dock and using the swim raft. “This was our second year spending a week at Nick's place and we had a great time. The weather was a bit chilly early in the week, but we enjoyed fishing in the lake and taking out our SUP. North Conway was close by and we enjoyed taking our son to play mini golf and an arcade. Nick's place is close to downtown Bridgton where there are many restaurants and shops. “This is an ideal location for a fun getaway for any season. Plenty of room for a large/extended family. While there is a road between the house and lake it didn’t detract from the experience at all. Pro tip, in cooler seasons turn on the ceiling fans to push the warmer air down. Otherwise the main room will feel cold. The dock is slightly off level and a couple doors don’t latch completely but those are just signs of a well loved camp.”
