Had a wonderful stay at the Dude & Roundup Motel. The rooms were spotless, and all the amenities were clean and well-kept. What really stood out was the incredible customer service. I ended up running late for check-in and gave them a call to let them know; the staff kindly waited an extra hour past their usual hours just to hand me my room keys and make sure I was settled in. The friendly, accommodating team made all the difference. Highly recommend staying here!

Basic clean rooms, well maintained and no frills, old buildings with outside stairs to the upper floor. Well located close to the entrance to Yellowstone’s west entrance. There were two properties Dude and Round up across the street managed by one check in. We were in the ground level room, every little walking, showering etc were loudly heard. Within walkable distance to shops, restaurants and the museum. It filled our needs.

Location is great to all local restaurants and shops and the entrance to Yellowstone. Beds were comfortable, shower was good. Room had a very unpleasant and strong cleaning supply smell. However it was very clean . There was not a coffee pot in the room. Coffee is available in the lobby.

Place was clean and quit, looks like they are doing some upgrades. The pizza bar around the corner was awesome. It was also close to all the stuff on the west side of Yellowstone like old faithful

We had a great stay. The hotel was conveniently located just minutes from the entrance to the national park, and we could easily walk to the supermarket and nearby souvenir shops. We really appreciated that our request for a first-floor room was accommodated. Having both a microwave and a refrigerator in the room was also very helpful. The property is a little older overall, but the room was clean and well maintained, and we had no issues during our stay.

I stayed at Dude for 6 nights in September. Con: For 3 nights I had no hot water (around 11pm), even after running the water for 5 minutes it was still all cold! And there was no staff at front desk after 11pm so my family had to take cold bath. :( And there was no microwave or kettle in the room, but that was ok. Pro: great location right out of Yellowstone west game. For $250 per night with inconsistent hot water, my 2-star rating is appropriate.

This place was perfect for our short stay visiting the park. Great location in a walkable town. The room seemed to be recently renovated, which i appreciated. Check in was easy, staff was nice enough. The king mattress in our room was incredibly comfortable. No fridge, but the office was kind enough to give us ice. Not a 5 start resort by any means, but a cute, clean, rustic place to stay.
