It was probably one of the most relaxing places we have been and the most functional. We had so much room for the kids to play outside, they loved the multi levels and all the windows was pretty darn amazing especially the first morning it was sprinkling and foggy with a hot cup of coffee.. absolutely would stay again and not far from either town for any extra needed supplies!

Weekend to remember!

Perfect. That is the word I would use if I could only choose one. The cabin was great, the host left nice little touches everywhere for us, and the stream in the backyard had great fishing spots up and down it. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to visit Vernon county.

Very nice place with an amazing location.

Fantastic Place to Stay!

Timber Creek Retreat is easily the best appointed VRBO we have stayed in and as my daughter said "Totally adorbs!" Location was great... We caught trout out back and in surrounding streams. Property was clean and well laid out and very relaxing and rejuvenating! Will stay here again, no question!

Incredible Stay on the Timber Coulee

Spent three days fishing and this home was perfect in every way! Very comfortable, clean and perfect for relaxing after spending the day on the river. You can literally walk out of the house and go up or downstream for as many miles you want to hike.10 out of 10.

Peaceful location

Located right on a sleepy stream. Owner provided split and dried firewood, which was a big plus. Property was exceptionally clean and the Owner thought about all the small touches that make a stay enjoyable. Great communication and you can tell the Owners take pride in their property.

Lovely Driftless Getaway Experience!

Kimberly & Darwin’s Timber Coulee Retreat is absolutely lovely & in a beautiful location! We wanted a quiet 4th & we got it! The cabin is comfy, very clean, and well furnished. We felt secluded, but small towns with groceries were minutes away. There are places to visit very close by, like Norskedalen that has wooded trails, an outdoor museum of antique Norwegian cabins and building, an indoor museum and a gift shop.And the nature around the cabin was fun to watch from inside & outside. A doe & spotted fawn visited every day along with a Great Blue Heron, and a young grey squirrel with a blonde tail. The trees are full of colorful orioles, yellow warblers, robins, and phoebes. We brought water shoes and walked up and down the creek which was nice on a hot day. All in all a lovely place for a getaway.
