Very nice place to stay. Animals every day around the cabin. Sit in the hot tub and watch them graze around. Had this group of bucks come 10 yards from me in the hot tub.

Mountain retreat

What a view! Sitting in the hot tub, taking in the sangre de christos is amazing. Very comfortable and relaxing place after hiking all afternoon. Highly recommend!

Fantastic views - both day and night

The property was exactly as advertised. Communications were timely, proactive and appropriate. Clean and comfortable. We felt right at home.The Mountain views are spectacular and the night sky did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay.

Great out-of-the-way cabin

The cabin with a hot tub is in a nice location away from lights and people. Nearly everything you need is provided. The host is very responsive and accommodating. We were satisfied with our overall experience and would stay here again.

The cabin is as beautifully situated as it appears in the photos; there are neighbors, but not too close to impinge on one's privacy. The cabin is not gigantic (perfect for the two of us - but if you have a larger group, keep in mind that anyone sleeping in the loft bedroom will be hearing everything that goes on in the kitchen and living room). I was pleasantly surprised by the high-end appliances - particularly the stove, which featured an indoor grill that actually succeeded in NOT smoking up the entire house. Charley was attentive and helpful, and gave me great tips on the stargazing that was the focus of my trip. In short, we loved the place, the area and the trip.

Wonderful place with great owners!

Everything about this stay was great, especially sitting in the hot tub while our baby napped in the afternoon. The owners were responsive to our inquiries, and it was great that they had a pack-n-play on the property. We'll be back!

We have loved coming to Westcliffe to get away from Texas summers. This is the first time we stayed at Golden Heart Acres - it was the perfect space to relax, reflect, and reconnect.

Incredible view!

My husband and I plus two small dogs loved this cabin and the location. We had a 360 degree view of the mountains. The temperature was great, cool after Oklahoma heat. The cabin has everything you need for a stay, clean and comfortable.

Absolutely stunning

I surprised my wife with this location to celebrate Valentines Day and her birthday. Everything about our stay was perfect, the views are breathtaking and the cabin was immaculate.

Comfy & Cozy Cabin

We had such a great time at this awesome cabin with spectacular views of the mountains! We had everything we needed at the cabin so just bought groceries in the nearby town of Westcliffe which had nice shops and friendly people. It was especially amazing and relaxing to sit in the hot tub and gaze at the snow capped mountains in June!
