My wife and I have been traveling around New Zealand for a month. Lodge Bordeaux has easily been the most pleasant place we've stayed. They've really thought of everything! And the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was delicious, too!

Excellent and cosy

Such a beautiful place to stay. Linda was an incredible host and helpful. Room was gorgeous, spa bath an extra beautiful bonus. Plunger coffee and make up bathroom fluffy towels. Excellent pressure shower and incredibly comfortable bed. Road noise didnt bother me as im a good sleeper anyway. Loved my stay and will definitely return if staying in Whangarei

After a long day of driving, we pulled into the Lodge. The young man at reception was friendly and accommodating. We entered our unit and we were so happy to see a spacious, modern apartment unit with a beautiful balcony where we enjoyed a late night supper. Our only regret was that we had to leave the next day.

Absolutely superb. Receptionist Josh was very helpful both with regard to our room and with local directions. The facilities in room were first class. Bed really comfortable, good kitchen facilities, jet tub in bathroom (with bath salts), and roomy. Also chairs / settee for you both to use. Could not have been better - excellent value in contrast with where we are staying in Rotoroa tonight which only has one chair for us and not enough room to swing a cat
