「As my wife injured her knee two days before arriving the Punga Grove, I asked the receptionist whether it was possible to re-assign a ground floor room for us. it was a negative reply at first. However, I believed the manager intervened and arranged a ground floor room for our two nights stay. 」

「Lovely host, made us feel very welcome & at home. Cottage very clean & tidy, lots of lovely touches, flannel sheets, hot water bottles. So appreciated. Enjoyed the 195O’s retro furnishings, old records & player. Kitchen had a great selection of condiments, Enjoyed starting our day sitting outside in the sun with a plunger coffee & watching the Weka. Thanks so much for a great stay. will be back in Summer. 」

「Super clean and comfortable. Convenient to town but quiet neighborhood. Beautiful view out the back windows. Our timing coincided with cold rain but it would be lovely to open up the whole back of the house in nice weather. 」
