“This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. A high chair or booster and or pack n play to use would have been a bonus, but we……

“Overall this was an amazing stay. We had a great weekend. Just for future renters, the space appears much bigger in the photos than it actually is. But it’s perfect for 2 people. It should also be noted that there is a shared entrance and no doors keep you secure from the owners possibly entering. However, the owners of the main home were not present during our stay so there were no issues. They also left us snacks!”

“Chose this location to be central to family in the area and space to gather. The bed/bath areas made it private for us each to have our own area. The kitchen island was perfect for having our family stop by for a visit. Both of my uncle’s complimented our vrbo choice and functionality of the gathering areas. There are several restaurants and grocery stores near by, extremely convenient for golfers and lake access. We will definitely recommend this location to others!”

“Our teen girls group had a great time at this house. A fire pit, kayaks, and a large house to spread out in. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Pretty quiet area despite how close the houses are together. Owner texted back quickly with help when needed. Thank you :)”

“Beautiful cabin set on a wooded yard with everything you need for a fun and enjoyable day. Nice patio area with everything you could use to relax and make your stay a much needed and fun get away.”

“Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them.”
