「The location is fantastic; all of "downtown" is in walking distance and there is a great Oak tree that provides some nice shade in the front yard. Heat pump keeps things nice and cool for the summer heat, there were a number of thoughtful amenities available. Great little kitchen with most of what you'd need for preparing a meal except the groceries! Enjoyed our stay and will probably be back.」

「Very nice apt, comfy bed and the whole unit was very clean. The host and housekeeper were both very responsive. While there weren't any views from the apt, the rooftop deck right outside had lovely views and was a great spot to hang out. Loved the free wine flight downstairs, easy to walk everywhere. 「The house space and location were fantastic and the hosts were very quick with communication! It was clean and seems newly renovated. The house only has a single split AC unit in the back room of the upstairs, fans are provided but weren’t on when we arrived so the house was very hot and took hours to cool down even after dark. Just something to be aware of if you arrive late in the day during the summer!」

「The house was very nice inside. Kitchen was well stocked with spices, coffee filters etc. As was mentioned in the post, there isn’t much outdoor space. There are a few chairs on the front entry and we enjoyed sitting out there for coffee and happy hour. There is also a picnic table. It’s an easy walk up to downtown White Salmon. We found the house very comfortable and had no issues except we are all short and had trouble reaching the microwave!」

At the time of my stay [end of May 2026], these small appliances were available for the kitchenette: microwave, toaster oven, hot water kettle, blender. Plus a Brita water pitcher.
