Absolutely loved this property! Incredibly unique. A dream come true for children. Truly magical in so many ways. Great proximity to mountain activities. Can’t wait to come back in the winter. Gail is wonderful to work with! Could not have asked for a better trip!

Wow, this place was cool. After seeing the pictures, we had to check it out. The location was most notable - right next to Chair 3 & Hope Slope run, with terrain park just beyond that. We were able to watch the boys do jumps from inside the house! The tower was a really cool unique feature. Great place to watch skiers & snowboarders go by, relax with a book, etc. The only hiccup was we had a little bit of difficulty checking in - I couldn't find the check-in email in my inbox. I am really not sure if it was my fault or theirs. Property manager didn't respond and I had to contact the owner. But we got it all straightened out within a couple hours. Another nice thing - sometimes we stay in VRBOs that don't have any salt & pepper, cooking spray, etc. This place had the basic things so we didn't have to buy them, which was nice.We would love to stay there again!

Very unique amazing experience! Real tree house, but with all the conveniences of a home. Right in the slopes. Property manager is very responsive and accommodating; they even had a Christmas tree and stockings there for us for the holidays! Very clean! Strongly recommend!

I really can't say enough wonderful things! I would use the word magical. We found October to be a precious time to come. While most things on the mountain top are closed, we were the only one around at night and it was extremely quiet. The weather was perfect for hikes (which you can easily do from the property) as well as horse back riding and bike riding. The quick drive to downtown Whitefish was lovely and had many options for food and drinks! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this property.

This place is amazing - true luxury. The views are incredible and it is located right on the slopes. The property is brand new absolutely beautiful. The interior and furnishings are top of the line. My favorite the heated floors in the bathrooms mmmm. The architecture of the treehouse is awe inspiring. The hot tub on the deck is yes!. There is plenty of room for a family of 4 or 5. Kids and adults would love it here. You really do feel like you are in a treehouse when you are inside and level with the chairlift. Wish we could have stayed longer and wish we were there when it snowed. Parking is a little tricky but Gayle is a great hostess and will show you the ropes. Thanks Darryl & Gayle love your place and can't wait to visit again.

Ponderosa treehouse at Snow Bear Chalets was the perfect place for our family. My husband and I enjoyed privacy sleeping on the main level and the kids LOVED the loft with a king, 2 twins, and the most amazing turret ever! This turret has something like 1000 fiber-optic stars forming twinkle-lit constellations on the ceiling- amazing! Our kids loved it! The kitchen was perfect and fully stocked for the two nights we cooked at "home". The mountain views were breathtaking, the hiking was fantastic, the beds were oh so comfy and the overall ambiance of the treehouse created such a great memory for our family. We're already looking at dates to return. Thank you Snow Bear Chalets for building such an amazing luxury treehouse! My recommendation- book this now! You'll be so happy that you did!

This is probably the most well appointed vacation rental we have ever stayed in. The owners thought of absolutely everything you could possibly want. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality cookware, utensils and serving pieces. You don't need to bring anything but your personal items. Trash bags, toiletries, zip lock bags, laundry detergent, etc. etc. etc. are all provided. To top that off, the place is truly beautiful. The design is unique and the house is extremely well built. The location was excellent. It would be nice to have a little more separation from the neighbors (especially from the master bedroom) but there were shades to provide adequate privacy so it wasn't really a problem. We would definitely stay here again. Whitefish in summer is absolutely fantastic and Ponderosa was a perfect place to stay!

Beautiful home and the ski in ski out is literally steps away! Views are majestic and Gail and Teresa went ABOVE and beyond with recommendations, pre-planning tips and suggestions! PRIMO location, service and beauty!!! It was so hard to leave!! We felt the impeccable touches throughout our stay and this home is so perfectly designed, cozy and classy all in one package!! Highly recommend!!! We will absolutely be going back and staying for at least a week!!! Skiing was incredible also! Whitefish has a special place in our hearts! We loved our summer stay at Ponderosa. Our 7 and 4 year old were delighted to stay in a treehouse and to have a turret to enjoy just to themselves. The amenities were spot on and everything was very comfortable. Whitefish is a fun little town and Glacier National Park is gorgeous!

We had a wonderful time in ponderosa! It was even more beautiful than in the pictures online. The view was spectacular and skiing right from the treehouse was so easy. The beds were so comfortable and the place was stocked with everything needed. This was the best rental we have ever stayed in! We definately want to come back. The skiing conditions were amazing!!

Snow Bear is absolutely beautiful with the highest luxury quality building and finishing touches and details. It has absolutely everything you need or want for a holiday or a longer stay. The only problem you will have is that you will not want to leave ... ever. You will want stay here in paradise in a fairy book story home. It sits right on the ski slopes with a view that is unmatched. Sit in your hot tub and look up at the ski slopes or look the other way and see see the mountain vistas. The secret turret will be everyones favorite hiding spot. You'll snuggle in with your love in front of the fireplace and feel like you are in heaven. I travel the world (literally) staying in the most amazing places, and this is one of my absolute favs in the world. There is good reason that this place is recognized as the best of the best.

The place is great and the company that manages the property was first class. You will have periodic disturbances at night when the groomers come by the slope. Generally, this was when we were sleeping. The lights come through the cabin and beep loudly when they go in reverse.

February 16th - 21st Our family of four (son 10 and daughter 12) recently stayed at the Ponderosa and we couldn't be any more pleased. Gail was very supportive in answering our voluminous number of questions; but the property was the real star. The appointments and attention to detail are far superior to any other ski vacation we've taken. And let's not forget the ski-in and ski-out; we were literally footsteps from the slopes!

Stunning!!! Staying at the Ponderosa was the icing on the cake for our incredible vacation! Beauty, class, adventure, privacy, and romance! Amazing customer service prior to booking through departure! Every detail of this home is top notch! From the great design, decor, comfort and LOCATION, this was by FAR one of our best experiences and favorite home away from home getaways! We felt the warm welcome and exquisite details upon walking in at our arrival and this first class home was hard to leave!!! Be sure to book beyond what you originally planned! 5 nights was not enough!!! Whitefish is incredible and the skiing was amazing! Gail and Teresa provided incredible suggestions, recommendations and insight and are a wealth of knowledge! So grateful for their servant hearts and desire to be so helpful and resourceful! We were so impressed with every detail! The heated bed was my favorite!!! The views were spectacular!!! The hot tub, fireplace, custom kitchen, incredible layout and fully stocked home was so appreciated! Highly recommend hiring personal chef!!! Literally- the ski in and ski out is steps away! We would ski, then break for lunch, then back to the slopes! Would absolutely highly recommend! We will be back and will stay at least one week! Everything was well thought through and designed to perfection. The ski in and ski out access made hitting the slopes really easy, and the hot tub after was icing on the cake. It was an unforgettable experience watching skiers from the house and hot tub ride by. The turret made staying here magical, and it felt like I entered a dream I never wanted to leave. The kitchen could make those who do not like to cook want to. Already planning my next trip back.
