「Couldn’t ask for anything more」

「A real hidden gem! I just wanted something other than a motel, and this goes far above fitting the bill. Very nice accommodation right on the Rock River. Peaceful view of the river from the back deck and there's fishing poles and tackle inside (didn't have time to fish this trip, but next time...!) A great romantic getaway or simply a nice spot to relax and enjoy yourself. Fantastic shower, full kitchen and washer/dryer available, and nice welcome treats. My first choice next time I'm in...

「Everything was exactly like it was listed. Thank you again for the quiet relaxing stay!!!」

「Our cabin rental was excellent from our arrival til our departure, stocked with everything we needed, the area is so private and peaceful! The cabin was very welcoming and relaxing and the front porch a fabulous retreat most of our stay! Looking forward to our return!」

「Super cute place. Quite lakeside. Bright and cheerful (in the morning you might wake early). Would be super fun with a small group of friends or a romantic getaway. Would stay again.」

「Good location. Drive way isn’t the best for a motorcycle but is manageable.」

「Extended weekend with my wife and dogs. We loved it there. Planning to book again soon.」

「Great set up for families. One big room in basement with beds was great for kids. Nice kitchen and deck area with Great Lake and wood views.」

「What a treasure The Shire in Savanna is. Clean, nicely decorsuppled with everything you need, beautiful settting. Brian and Charmaine are great hosts, responsive, clear communication. Can’t wait to go back!」

「Great place to stay! Pictures were great but it was even better in person! Hosts were very communicative. We would definitely stay here again!」

「It was clean and we had all that we needed. Would suggest cutting down some branches, etc to enhance view of the river.」

「A beautiful cabin, thoughtfully decorated and equipped with everything you need. Justin & Melissa responded quickly to any inquiries. If you desire a peaceful setting and break from your busy life, this is the place to go! The cabin was exactly as advertised and exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to go back!」

「Clean rooms, cozy, and very comfortable.」

「Was a very nice cabin. Very quiet and peaceful. 」

「Main floor of cabin had a weird tilt towards the kitchen, but we adapted. There were spoons and knives, but no forks. And no soap for the shower. But sitting on the porch at sunset overlooking the river was beautiful. And the cabin was roomy and beds were comfortable. Gas grill needs serious cleaning. 」
