“I went with a group of friends and it was just the beginning of the season so we had the entire property to ourselves. All the staff were extremely friendly and nice. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable. A separate shout out to Michael and Raj. Do ask for them when you visit.”

“We were up for a wedding, so didnt spend a lot of time here. The place was very clean, well appointed and we enjoyed our stay. We had no safety concerns what so ever.”

“The cottage is bright, fairly clean, and the kitchen has a good amount of dishes, pots and pans. The beds are comfortable as well. It would have been nice to have a working dryer for our mitts and hats. We noticed it had been down since October. Also, an area to hang winter clothes and matts to put winter boots on. We didn't want to put our wet gear directly on the floor. Knowing we were coming and we paid a lot of money to stay plus an additional charge for our fur baby which was more than……

“What an absolutely beautiful place. My wife and I spent an extended weekend for our anniversary to get away and relax. My wife loves to cook, and this kitchen was so well thought out, it had everything she needed. The only thing to note was that if you are a light sleeper and sleep in the bedroom on the main floor, the heat pump may wake you up when it kicks on. We wished we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back maybe in the fall or again next winter.”

“The owner was super helpful and responded to questions almost instantaneously. Its cottage was as seen in the pictures. Waterfront and dock was alot nicer than the pictures showed. Nice small lake. We plan to rent it again”

“This cottage is a gem! The cottage is well laid out (inside and out) and offered everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Our host was very attentive and quick to respond when needed. The water is lovely and the kids had a great time. You may hear the train a time or two during your stay, but otherwise a very quiet area. Hot tub was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.”

“Beautiful property and well maintained. Owen responded to our questions promptly. Plenty of room for our family (adult children and toddler grandchild) with room to spare. Spent the weekend ice fishing, sledding, making snow people and great memories. Only thing that would have been better would have been catching some fish. ;) .Would definitely recommend this property.”

It was nice to be on the river and see and hear the birds. It was also great to be a short drive from different parks and trails. We appreciated Sue’s quick response when we asked her a question the first morning. It was a very nice stay.”
