“We had reservations with this hotel for 2 months and when we arrived were told that due to a staff cleaning mishap they did not have a room for us. We travelled from Virginia to Nebraska feeling confident that when we arrived around 10pm our room would ready waiting for us. It seems having a reservation does not mean what it used to. “The hotel was under construction for renovations, which was not conveyed to us at any point until we arrived to check in. The building was dusty and made breathing difficult. There were also several construction workers smoking right at the main entrance at any given time. The gym was closed for renovations. The hotel itself was torn apart, unpainted, and the incessant noise from construction went until about 9 pm every day. The stay was completely unacceptable.”
