Mountain View Shed

Come and indulge in the serenity of our "Mountain View Shed," beautiful view of the Smokey Mountains. Nestled right off the main highway, this cozy studio-style retreat is a true haven. You'll be just a short 10-minute drive from Cherokee, Bryson City, and the Smokey Mountain Railroad.

While at the Mountain View Shed, take in the beauty of the outdoors from the front porch, where rocking chairs beckon, or savor your meals against a backdrop of stunning scenery. And what's a mountain retreat without a campfire? We've got you covered with a conveniently placed fire pit, complete with ready-to-use firewood.

Inside the Mountain View Shed, you'll find a comfortable queen-size bed and two snug lofts fitted with twin beds. The kitchen area is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, a griddle, a hot plate, a coffee maker, a microwave, and an outdoor grill on the porch. The full bathroom offers a shower-only experience.

We understand that your four-legged fur babies are part of the family, and we warmly welcome them to stay with you. A small, fenced yard allows them to bask in the mountain views and scents alongside you!

Beautiful View

The view was fabulous and the shed was super clean! Perfect size for my husband and I along with our golden retriever! Was a little difficult to find. Follow the directions given by the host. Do not use your gps! The driveway is a little difficult to back out of, but we have a big car so that made it more difficult for us. The grass needed cutting and watch your head going in the shed! My husband is about 6 feet tall and hit his head several times! We loved sitting on the porch! We drank our coffee there each morning and admired the view! The shed was close to the casino and all attractions in Cherokee! It also is close to Bryson City! We enjoyed our stay at the shed!

Loved Mountain View Shed

Everything about our stay was perfect to get away for a few days. A short drive to things we wanted to do and great restaurants, but the privacy of being tucked away. The view was amazing, the cabin was just right for the two of us and our senior puppy dog enjoyed having a fenced area to roam. I work on the go via laptop utilizing large construction project files and had excellent internet connection on laptop and phones while working (from outside on the deck so I could enjoy the view!)

This place is perfection. The view from the huge covered deck is perfect. The fenced yard was amazing for my little dog. It rained in the evenings we set out and listened to it hit the tin roof. We will be back. So easy to get to as well.

Comfortable bed, great view

Our stay was great. The cabin is less than five minutes to Sylva and Dillsboro. We spent a lot of time in town and came back to a nice fire at the end of the day. There's a footbridge that goes over the Tuckaseegee river across the highway from the neighbourhood entrance.

Perfect for Solo Traveler

What a great location! I loved having the little fenced-in area for my little dog, Chewie. The views were better than I imagined! The location was very convenient to Cherokee and Bryson City, where I went shopping, tried my luck at Harrah's, and ate some amazing food at the local eateries. Thank you for a special place for me to relax and enjoy!

Terrific Tiny Home

This property is adorable and contains all the comforts of home. Drinking coffee while sitting in one of the rocking chairs on the deck while watching the mist on the nearby mountains was a lovely way to start the day. Conveniently located near Cherokee. My dogs really enjoyed the fenced yard. The bed was super comfortable.

Fantastic view, super cute!

The view itself made it worth it. The fact that the shed was the cutest thing ever! The porch was huge with a great view. We were able to bring our dog as well and the fenced in yard made it that much better. Our daughter loved the loft. Everything you need for a mountain stay. Close to Cherokee and Bryson City. Super easy communication and response. Easy to find if you follow the info given from the owners/manager. Will stay again!

Truly is a shed that has been fitted with all the comforts of a tiny home. Space is studio-like with queen memory foam bed on one end of space, kitchen, and then bathroom; 2 small loft spaces at either end. Communication with Karen was easy and prompt. Two other properties behind this one, but not able to see the other properties easily due to their positioning; not sure about carry of sound between properties since I do not think the others had lodgers while I was there. Cozy option if in Whittier locale!
