The problem was we never had the way to access the property until VRBO gave the owners information to access her the day before arrival. With us being seven hours away, we didn't want to go there and our friends were coming from another seven hours. We had to alert VRBO we needed access. This should have been sent to us, minimally, a week in advance. Luckily, we finally had the owner's access to gain entry. This was way too close for comfort.
