Great Base for All Things Wichita

The bungalow was clean, remodeled well, and well-stocked. However, for me, the greatest feature was how close it was to all the activities in Wichita City Center, only a five-minute drive to the Riverwalk, museums, parks, and antique shopping. Be sure to try Paramount Coffee, and the French Café less than a mile away!

Wichita in the summer

The house is very comfortable and met our needs for our visit with family. It had all the amenities we required. The bed was quite comfortable. Even with the usual Wichita hot temps the inside was cool and pleasant. The house has easy access to both the downtown area and local freeways. The check-in/check-out process was simple and communication with the host was easy.

Lovely home, great location!

This home was very cute and clean. It came equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. And the location was awesome! Downtown Wichita was only 5-7 minutes away. Our host Janelle was super easy to get ahold of should we have any question. She was incredibly helpful and the ease of communication made our check in and check out process super quick. Beautifully-decorated home with comfy beds and loaded with special touches. Easy check-in and communication with host. Close to DT and central to the areas we visited NE and NW of DT. Neighborhood was quiet both nights, but the yards on the block were a bit unkempt. A beautiful home in an older neighborhood. Quiet for us even though highway very close. Loved out stay!

Cute, comfortable home. Really nice to have AC that was cool and kept us comfortable because we were there on a week when it was 100. Loved that each room also had ceiling fans! enjoyed the keurig and little touches in the kitchen. I did let the owner know the faucets in bathroom sink and laundry were backwards for hot/cold. My only suggestion is a subjective one...the outside could use a clean up, weeding, and some plants/grass put in to make the outside as nice as the inside. The first impression is the outside. But again, subjective..the pics of the inside are true and the inside is where you are spending your time.

I stayed 13 nights and had several family and friends over.

I was in Wichita, my hometown, for 13 nights. Visiting with friends, family, a class reunion, and meeting some of my biological family. I was also working remotely for seven of my days there. The house is very cute and quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The sheets, bed, bedding, pillows, and bath towels were very good quality. The kitchen is very compact but so comfortable to work in. There was everything I needed except a tea picture, so I bought one and left it. The kitchen towels were synthetic and not as absorbent, but they did get a lot of use before becoming dirty. There’s a pretty new, full size refrigerator. If you like ice bring your own as it doesn’t have an ice maker. That wasn’t a problem. I used the dining table and office chair for work as my monitor was huge and crowded the desk. I had some of my friends who were in town for the reunion, over for game night (with the owner’s knowledge and permission). It was a great space for the seven of us. We used the table for a Taco Tuesday feast from Taco Rio. Visited, played a game, and pored over our Junior and Senior High Yearbooks. We added 2 chairs to the ends of the table and it worked well for the seven of us. Everyone who visited me, loved the house. The decor was on point. I kept my laundry clean with the washer and dryer. They sound a bit different, but do a fabulous job on the clothes. Owners were helpful and communicative. Note house is the 2nd home on the West side of the street.
