Riverside is a neighborhood in Wichita, Kansas, United States. A mostly residential area located between the Arkansas and Little Arkansas Rivers, it is home to several of the city's museums and large parks.
One of the primary reasons Riverside is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Wichita is its central location. Many people, from young professionals to families, enjoy living in the quiet area near downtown businesses and the shops and restaurants in Delano.
The Riverside neighborhood is located south of 13th Street, between the Arkansas River and Little Arkansas River. It’s bordered on the east by Bitting and Nims Streets.
Riverside residents enjoy easy access to Kellogg and I-135, and downtown Wichita is just a few blocks southeast. Other well-known areas are conveniently located nearby, including Indian Hills, Delano and Midtown.

Pass on this one
No check-in information until I called when I got there in the afternoon. The mgr did pick up right away but it was stressful to realize as we got there that the check in email didn't actually have the code for the key lockbox or the wifi information, had to get it from him over the phone
No blinds on the rear windows or porch door window so there was a lot of light shining into the room at bed time
No flat sheet on the bed so we had to sleep directly under the comforter which I highly doubt is laundered after every guest
No bulb in the bedside lamp so we pulled one from the bathroom vanity so we could see at night
Dirty common stairwell filled with leaves and a cigarette butt thrown directly on the carpeted stairs
No hand soap in the bathroom
No toiletries available other than a half-used travel-size bottle of shampoo

Disgusting and No Privacy
The bathroom and kitchen were grimy and covered in hair and filth. There are two holes that lead to attic space or outdoors. The window to the balcony that is shared with other apartments has no curtain and anyone can look right in to the bed.
