It is a smaller hotel, which is not a bad thing. Its location is excellent for walking to the beach, boardwalk and many other places to eat. Staff has always been excellent and professional.

Last minute stay, very surprised
We booked this room last minute (not recommended at Jersey Shore) and for 1 night, usually not allowed. While it looked awful outside, we had soft clean beds, working A/C, TV, remote, fridge and small freezer, and toilet was actually great! While the bathroom and bedspreads were leftover from the 1970s, we had a surprisingly pleasant stay. I would not book this again if I could help it.

I did not like that the over flow parking lot was across the street over a small divider. It made it difficult to cross the street with children and your luggage. otherwise the property and hotel was just what we needed. Good hotel for the price..

I wish I could give minus stars. From the moment I arrived at Sun Shine Motel in Wildwood, NJ, the experience was a non‑stop nightmare. I hope no one else ever stays here. If this place is a last resort, cancel your trip and sleep in your car instead. Seriously—the discomfort and constant dread you’ll feel here is worse than any motel bed bug horror story. You’ll wake up itchy, filthy, and completely ripped off. This isn’t a motel—it’s a cautionary tale.

The staff was extremely friendly, very helpful. The beds were so comfortable.
And I definitely got a poolside room. I had a great stay i will recommend it to my friends and family will definitely be coming back here. It may not be as modern as people like nowadays, but I just loved it. It was a huge tub. Great shower. I'm a microwave refrigerator you know? If you get a room and you don't feel, it's clean enough, ask them, they are very attentive to your needs. And its only a block from the boardwalk convention center, the beach stores perfect.Can ask for a perfect place and free parking.

There were roaches in the bathroom and the A/C was broken pretty much the entire time. We told management about it they turned it on and ofc we woke up hot again. Then it started to smell like it was burning so we unplugged it which caused a shock. We also told management about this and they kept it plugged in, one of the prongs were burnt.

Clean, comfortable, good location
Staff was great, very accommodating and communicative when I made the booking on short notice and checked in late at night. AC was powerful, beds were comfortable, location was amazingly close to the beach/boardwalk. One issue was that the bathroom sink backed up on my last day there, but staff responded quickly when I brought it up. Definitely not a fancy place, but it was clean and comfortable and perfect location.
