The pool is closed for the Winter.

A "RUSTIC" cabin with a wharf-like feeling and your own PRIVATE POOL(natural pool fed by well water), only 20 MINUTES from downtown Chattanooga. Book your stay and enjoy all that Chattanooga has to offer. The Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City, Ruby Falls, Lookout Mountain Incline, Chattanooga Zoo, Creative Discovery Museum and much much more.

2 Bedrooms(with jet tub upstairs), 2 Bath(linen and bath towels included), Fireplace(propane)in great room(winter), Basic kitchen supplies, charcoal/propane grill, and an outdoor fire pit for your enjoyment. Come and enjoy the beauty of nature and the scenic view of Lookout Mountain!

There is NO internet or WiFi.

For more than 4 guests there will be a extra $20 charge per night, per person

Romantic Getaway!

Check in was simple! Pool was ice cold. There is no oven in the house. House was clean. Deck does have a few mushy places that need to be repaired. Overall wonderful stay!

I do not recommend staying here. There are no blinds or curtains in the downstairs main living room/kitchen area, we found roaches in the silverware drawer, pool is slimy, banister dry rotted, some planks in deck are mushy, bedrooms are dark and have an eerie feeling, and much more. The vegetation is overgrown and the fire pit and picnic table are covered in moss and don't appear to ever have been used. We left 2 days early and have had no response from the host. My sister and I are primitive campers so we are not bougie, but we do expect safety, especially when there is a lot of traffic on the road directly next to this place. The door/window does not lock AT ALL. What was real creepy is we noticed when leaving a bench in the woods where you could sit and have a perfect view of the activity inside this house since there are no blinds or curtains to the downstairs windows. Creepy! I think the pics says it all. This would work for a frat party or a bunch of fisherman, but no one else. Pass on this!!

Girls Trip

We really enjoyed the pool, which was cold and perfect for the summer heat. It was quiet and peaceful. We felt relaxed and comfortable. There is a couch in the living room even though the photos do not show it. The hang gliders were fun to watch as well.

The pictures made it look better than it was. The trees needed to be cut back and some repairs needed. It was not very clean and had roaches. Someone was walking around on the deck that leads inside to the house and the back room when we got back from town. She said she was checking the berries.

Cabin/House was close enough, 25 min drive to Chattanooga to be convenient. Had a few problems, but they were addressed quickly by hosts. Nice rustic get away.

Great Weekend Getaway

We had a great time. The property is rustic but felt like a beach bungalow. The pool was great but I would like to have dedicated stairs or a ladder to get out and in. Would definitely revommend if you need to unplug and relax.

Nice little place

We came down for a couples weekend, spent most of our time at Ruby Falls, Rock City, the aquarium, and several restaurants Chattanooga had to offer. Basically used the house to sleep. Unfortunately didn’t even get to use the pool that we asked about being ready to use. Interesting house with plenty of memorabilia of the owner on the walls and a available to listen to. Hang gliding air field within 200 yards of house but surprisingly didn’t really create a noise nuisance. All in all a nice stay.

Disappointed

The overall layout is awful. Then I hit my head twice coming down the stairs (I’m 6’ tall and the damn joist should not be in that position. It has some weird appeal to it, but when I hit my head for the second time I was over it. I actually left a day early due to the stay.
