“Check in was fast and desk clerk very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. We walked next door to McDonald’s and saw a police car patrolling the area which made us feel safe. Plenty of parking was available for our truck and car trailer. Breakfast area was clean and stocked. We enjoyed juice, coffee, yogart and a Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. Would recommend staying here.”

“Room was clean if not a bit dated. The motel is being remodeled so only half the motel was available during my stay. Debra at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, im happy it was sausage patties instead of the gross squishy links at most hotels. The best part? Room 218, the bed was probably in the top 3 best motel beds Ive ever slept in. “Very cute cabin. Just what we needed for our annual trip to drive to mtns to pick out and purchase a Christmas tree from a choose and cut tree farm, plus get some xmas shopping done in West Jefferson NC and drove to the town of Sparta and also drove through stone mtn state park to see Widow falls and seen some deer also. it was a bit cold so we did not use the grill but the grill was actually cleaner than most other cabins we have been in but could use new burner covers and grease from bottom……

“Cabin was cozy and warm with the nice propane heater. Firepit and grill were great, creek was really nice. Wifi went out a couple times, shower was great, but a bit clunky to use.”

“Only 1 full bath downstairs and that is said to sleep 9 people. Also, walk to pool but NOT to gym. During winter the gym and sauna seemed like highlights but not close to house. Very close to neighbors and game room is really converted garage and drafty. Set up for “rental” and premium price tag but not as ideal as photos look. Also, Trash full upon arrival and not taken until we left. Stayed 2 nights for price of 4 and was ready to leave. Tight quarters for number of guests it ‘sleeps” during……
