"Short review: Definitely visiting the Blue Beach House again. What a great find for my solo adventure.Long review: I booked this trip as a relaxing getaway after a busy season at work and I wanted to disconnect as much as possible. Well, the fates ensured that as the first night a rather powerful wind storm ripped through and took out the power. With the weather forecast I figured this might happen - so it didn’t really bother me. The house had battery powered lanterns to use, but I had brought my own. There was extensive damage to the power lines in the area, but Grays Harbor PUD got everything back in order with a day. Xfinity, not so much…but I didn’t need internet anyway. :)The house itself is beautiful - fully stocked with every you could need (though I admittedly didn’t use the kitchen much) and a very comfortable bed. Oh, and they also have blackout blinds on all the windows – lovely detail for those of us who want to sleep in but wake up to the sun. The owners were very responsive my whole stay. I felt very comfortable the entire trip.I can’t wait to plan my next trip here with my family."
