“The exterior photos and location are lovely, but I booked this stay to get a weekend breath after a death in the family and was devastated to arrive to an unfinished shack that had no running water, no insulation, cracks and holes in the walls with the roof patches falling in, and a wasp infestation! This is not the kind of stay that I would wish on my enemy. We froze all night, flight off spiders and yellow jackets returning to a missing nest, and were bothered by loose dogs that weren't listed……

“My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. Very private and peaceful. The cottage was homie, cute and comfortable. We will be back for another stay. Thank you.”

“We had a small group of friends gathering. So many fun things to do here. Games, campfire, animals, ducks, canoeing and paddle boarding, hot tub. Can’t wait to come back!”

“This property was a great location for us attending our son's wedding @ Madera Estates! It was so well stocked with items that served our needs. The entertainment room was a hit for the kiddos to play and watch shows. Everyone found their bed to be comfortable. There are toys for kids and games for adults. You will never find this type of peace and quiet in any hotel for a good nights rest! My adult kids were so happy I found this listing. We felt so blessed to find a property owner that was……

“I never like giving anyone a dislike to a VRBO home. Driving 11.5 hours, to find this house not as describe. The house description said new house. This home is not a new house, the front yard had not been cut and tree limbs are in the front. There is no lighting in the driveway or up to the door. There were stains in the carpet, bedroom downstairs had dirty walls. Very disappointed. New bedding and not cheap bedspreads. IKEA beds with no cushion for mattress. The best part to this home was the……

“Beautiful Home! We hosted my mother in love's birthday celebration and everything was very organized! Elizabeth even sent Tiffs treat that coordinated perfectly with our decor!”

“Great place. Very clean and nice fenced in back yard to let the dog out. Would stay here again.”

“This was a nice place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The host was very quick to answer any questions we had. Houston is extremely hot this time of year but we still enjoyed the rooftop area in the evening after the concert.”

“We really enjoyed our stay, but we especially liked the dock. I was able to keep my two jet skis in the backyard and we really enjoyed our visit.”

“Very beautiful, well kept house so close to the marina. Nice shops nearby. House has everything you could need. Plenty of games to use with the kids and family. Beautiful master suite and bathroom. Enjoyed the beautiful backyard - a little oasis. All the dishes and cooking utensils you could need. Quiet neighborhood. Amazing!”
