Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, communication
Contrary to the description Expedia showed, this home is located in a rough area and unkept. On the site, it states it is handicap accessible, however, there is no parking available and we were told we would have to park a block or two away and leave our vehicle. Had we known this before booking, we would have never booked. My husband is a disabled veteran who has had three back surgeries. The management never emailed the itinerary, we had to call upon arrival. Once we arrived, we noticed that there were shoes hanging from the wiring outside right in front of the home, cars parked all along the road, as well as the unmanaged and unkept property itself. The two driveways right beside the house were apparently driveways for the other homes. My husband had pulled into one when we arrived, thinking it was to the rental house and we were greeted by the neighbor who was anything but friendly. She told us we could not park there. The entire situation was uncomfortable and inconvenient. We reached out to management by phone and spoke with Halle Mcadam at ultimate property management. She proceeded to tell us that if there was no parking on the street in front of the home, we would need to park a block or two away and leave our vehicle. We explained to her that my husband was handicapped and we were not comfortable leaving our vehicle. There was no accommodation or reimbursement of any of our money. I would not recommend at all.
