Wilson Wilson State Wildlife Area Hotels

"Mattress was hard as a stone slab; beds were sloppily made. Strong smell of cumin and coriander cooking in hallway farthest from lobby. Blackout curtains did not serve to block the bright-as-daylight streetlights pointed directly at room windows from the parking lot. Pool water was murky, kids' pool was drained, and hot tub was lukewarm. While the shower tub itself was brand new, water damage above it in the wall and ceiling looked like mold. Though there were fewer than 10 rooms occupied in this 60+room hotel, *of course* a group of guests were put in the next room, door slammers and barking dogs and all."

"This property has tons of charm and character. The restaurant is good, the beds are comfy even if the front desk lady was a little surly. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back if we find ourselves near Wilson again. "

"The home actually looks way better in person. We were worried based on few available pictures. The house is easy to get to, and there's plenty of room to park. If I return to that area, I will definitely try to reserve this house again."

"This very unique condo was way better than expected. The rooms were very large and spacious. Each room had it's own private bathroom. The building used to be a lawyers office, so the decor is perfect for that. I had fun reading some of the books along the walls. The host are very nice and was quick to answer my questions. The location can't be beat as it is right down town in Russell. Walk to the movies, coffee shop, restaurants, and stores. "

"Right off the interstate and right next to a big gas station. Well lit and fairly quiet, good for a road trip stop. If you have a dog it’s just large stone gravel around the building (my dog didn’t like it on her feet) and no easy access trash cans but there is an empty lot with grass nearby. Staff were very kind and friendly "

"The check-in process was amazing. There are no elevators but the front desk staff was very helpful. She went out of her way to help us. The suite we had was spacious and super clean. The rooms are dated and the beds are okay but not very supportive. Breakfast was nice and warm. Check out was a breeze. "
