"This place is the best we have stayed at in UK. It is not only beautiful and comfortable but the innkeepers have thought of every possible thing. Great bath, nice kitchen, great bed and towels. I appreciated how green the paper goods and soaps are. Great place"
"It’s location is near the center of the city, very convenient for the sightseeing.
There is a nice pub in the groundfloor and there we drunk nice beer and enjoyed wonderful dinner.
The staffs are very kind."
"Such a great place to stay for a couple of days exploring the local area.
The food is great, the breakfast was the best part for me. I was very pleased to see you get to order from a menu at breakfast and everything felt like great quality.
Staff were really friendly too. "
"The breakfast was included which was a nice touch and the food was very high quality and fresh. Staff were friendly as was the manager and you get a complimentary cookie from the kitchen on arrival in your room. Very cosy comfortable and spacious rooms in a loverly area. "We enjoyed a king bed room with a view of the back garden. The breakfast buffet is quite good (fresh, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, potato crisp) and french press coffee is served at your table. There is no dinner service. The bar offers bags of chips, and you can sit outside on the terrace or walk out to the river gazebo. The staff are very friendly and accommodating."
"We are not to the manor born but we could stay there for a couple nights. It was lovely! Our room and ensuite bathroom were both spacious and comfy. The cooked breakfast plus fruit, yogurt, toast and cereal got us off to a strong start. The car park at Burcombe Manor was nice but we drove in to Wilton and took the bus to Salisbury, which turned out very easy--much better than driving. Burcombe Manor is ideally located for visiting Wilton House, Salisbury, Old Sarum, Stonehenge and Bath. Quiet and relaxing, we had a wonderful visit!"
You can study the exhibits at Boscombe Down Aviation Collection, a museum with a story of its own, during your trip to Salisbury. Stroll along the riverfront in this culturally rich area or visit its lively bars.
